Use of the Education Planning Center

The Education Planning Center provides educational content, planning tools, calculators, account features, and related resources to help families, advisors, and client organizations plan for education goals.

You may use the Education Planning Center only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You are responsible for the information you provide and for keeping your account credentials confidential.

Eligibility and Accounts

You must be able to form a binding agreement and must provide accurate account information. The Education Planning Center is intended for parents, guardians, advisors, client administrators, and other authorized users, not for direct use by children under 13.

You are responsible for activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

Educational Information, Not Professional Advice

The Education Planning Center is provided for educational and planning purposes only. Content, estimates, calculators, projections, and tool outputs are not financial, investment, tax, legal, accounting, or professional advice.

College costs, aid eligibility, loan terms, savings growth, scholarship availability, and other outcomes may vary. You should consult qualified professionals before making financial, legal, tax, investment, or education financing decisions.

User Information and Permissions

You may enter information about yourself, your family, students, finances, college interests, advisor relationships, and planning preferences. You represent that you have the right to provide that information and to authorize its use through the Education Planning Center.

If you connect with an advisor or use a client-sponsored experience, authorized advisors or client administrators may be able to view or manage certain information according to the features and permissions of the service.

Acceptable Use

You may not misuse the Education Planning Center, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, scrape or harvest data, upload malicious code, impersonate another person, violate applicable law, infringe third-party rights, or use the service to harm Invite Education, our users, our clients, or others.

We may suspend or terminate access if we believe a user has violated these Terms, created risk, or used the service in a way that is unlawful, harmful, or inconsistent with the intended purpose of the Education Planning Center.

Content and Intellectual Property

The Education Planning Center, including its design, software, text, graphics, logos, tools, content, and other materials, is owned by Invite Education or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

Subject to these Terms, Invite Education grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Education Planning Center for your personal, family, advisory, or authorized organizational education planning purposes.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the Education Planning Center except as allowed by law or with our written permission.

Third-Party Services and Links

The Education Planning Center may include links, integrations, embedded tools, or content from third parties. We are not responsible for third-party services, and your use of them may be governed by separate terms and policies.

Communications

By providing contact information, you agree that we may contact you about your account, service updates, support, security, legal notices, and educational resources related to the Education Planning Center. You may opt out of non-essential marketing communications as described in our Privacy Policy.

Changes to the Service or Terms

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features of the Education Planning Center from time to time. We may also update these Terms. Continued use after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Education Planning Center is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Invite Education disclaims warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of accuracy, availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not guarantee that the Education Planning Center will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that results from tools or content will be complete, accurate, or suitable for your particular circumstances.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Invite Education and its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, service providers, and partners will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or loss of goodwill arising from or related to your use of the Education Planning Center.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Invite Education from claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your misuse of the Education Planning Center, your violation of these Terms, your violation of law, or information you provide without proper authorization.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to conflict of law principles, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
